Pony and Horse Development

Pony/Horse Development is the heart of Smallside Farm. We are passionate about working with young ponies and horses and understand the value of them being started and developed correctly. 

 

Training Board - $1250/month

Includes:

  • 4-5 sessions/week. (Min of 3 u/s, 1 lunge conditioning per week)

  • Show Prep

  • Conformation Photos

  • Monthly Video to check progress

  • Full Care

  • All Natural Feeding Program 2x Daily

  • Hay 2x Daily

  • Stall Cleaned Daily

  • Daily Turn out (AM/PM)

  • Blanketing

  • Hoof picking/main pulling/regular clipping (bridle path, fetlocks, muzzle etc)

  • Scheduling of Farrier and Veterinarian

Consignment spots are on a per case basis depending on current inventory and market trends. We are not currently taking green ponies on consignment. We do have openings for horses and ponies with show records.
