HORSE OVERVIEW

Rosie is a stunning Trakehner mare with loads of substance, bone and presence. She is extremely gentle and sweet as can be, we adore this mare! She will be trained for the hunter ring and eventually join our broodmare band in the future.

 

PEDIGREE

Sire E.H. Herzzauber (1988) Trakehner stallion imported from Germany in 1994. He was the Grand Champion of his Keuring at Herbstgold Neuminster, Germany, in 1990. He was extremely successful in his 100 day test in Adelheisdorf, attaining an overall test score of 122.9, with a dressage score of 132. The honor of "Elite Hengst" (Elite Stallion) was bestowed on him in 2000 by the German Trakehner Verband. The Elite status was awarded as a result of the great success of his offspring in competition. E.H. Herzzauber has successfully competed in Prix St Georges/Intermediare Dressage, with placings to the national level.

 

Dam Itaelena is by Rudiger out of Itamaria Vom Castell. Rudiger is by the great Abdullah, who was honored as one of the top 50 horses of the century by "The Chronicle of The Horse". In the 1984 Olympics, Abdullah with his rider Conrad Homfeld had a brilliant clear round in the Team Competition clinching the first team gold medal for the United States. They went on to win the Olympic silver medal in the individual competition.
